On 22 October 2021, at a conference organized by the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A., the project 'Expansion of rail access to the western part of the Port of Gdynia - reconstruction and electrification' was officially concluded.
The investment carried out by our company is a development of strategic rail transport in the port, a great ecological benefit for the environment and residents. Thanks to electrification, carriers will be able to dispense with diesel locomotives and introduce electric rolling stock. The reduction in noise and exhaust emissions will improve the quality of life for local residents. As a result of the increased capacity, traffic congestion in front of the port will be reduced and the safety of rail operations will be improved.
